Over five unforgettable days and 14 events, through sunshine and rain, our community came together once again for great entertainment, great memories and, most importantly, an incredible collection of classic cars.
To everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, supported and cheered us on — thank you!

At the heart of Rock’n August are the classic car owners who bring their incredible vehicles to St. Albert each year.
We recognize the time, care, investment and passion it takes to restore, maintain and proudly display these remarkable vehicles. When you participate in Rock’n August, you do much more than bring a beautiful car to a show. You share automotive history, swap stories, inspire the next generation of enthusiasts and create the experience that spectators come from near and far to enjoy.
This year, even when the weather didn’t always cooperate, you continued to show up — and we cannot thank you enough for that support.
Whether you joined a cruise, participated in one of our events, displayed your vehicle, talked cars with another enthusiast or watched a youngster’s face light up as they discovered a favourite classic, you helped make our 30th anniversary one to remember.
30 Years of Cars, Community & Giving Back
While the cars bring us together, the cause behind Rock’n August has always given our festival an even greater purpose.
As we announced at our Friday Night Street Dance, we expect this year’s fundraising to take Rock’n August past an extraordinary milestone:
More than $2 million raised in support of the Alberta Diabetes Foundation and the search for a cure for diabetes.
Reaching that milestone has taken 30 years of commitment from car owners, spectators, volunteers, sponsors, community partners and supporters. Every registration, donation, ticket purchase and fundraising activity has helped move us closer to this remarkable achievement.
To our spectators, thank you for filling our venues, supporting our events, enjoying the entertainment and sharing our enthusiasm for these beautiful vehicles. Your participation creates the energy and atmosphere that make Rock’n August such a special week in our community.
30 years. Five days. 14 events. Thousands of memories. Beautiful classic cars. An incredible community. And more than $2 million raised in the fight against diabetes.
