POKER RUN THURSDAY
Our version of a Poker Run involves pre-registered individuals or teams travelling to specified locations (in any order) to build a poker hand. You do not need to be a Poker expert to play. The ranking of Poker hands are listed below.
At each location, a member of the team will identify that they are a Poker Run participant. The location representative will verify your name, ask you to select a single card from the deck. They will then record your card selection on your RUN CARD. You will then move on to the next location and repeat this process.
After selecting a card at each of the stops, you will decide on your best hand, record it on the BACK of your RUN CARD along with your name and best phone number and proceed to the drop off location. This year that is 2 Hebert Road between 5:00pm-6:30pm on Wednesday, Aug 9th. Winners will be announced Wednesday Night at approximately 7:30pm. All winners will also be listed on the RNA Website at www.rocknaugust.com.

Royal Flush: Run of sequential cards from Ten to Ace, with all cards of the same suit.
Straight Flush: Run of sequential cards, all cards of the same suit, but not Ace high.
Four of a Kind: Four cards of the same rank e.g. four Aces, four Kings, etc…
Full House: Three cards of the same rank plus a pair, e.g. three Aces and a pair of Kings.
Flush: Five cards all of the same suit.
Straight (Run): Five sequential cards, not of the same suit.

Register to join the cruise from the NAKI Transit Centre to Downtown St Albert.
All participants MUST register BEFORE 5pm on the day of the Cruise. NO cruise vehicles will be allowed to enter the NAKI Transit Centre after 5:45pm due to traffic congestion and the enormity of the event (500+ cars).
Cruise leaves NAKE at 6:00PM SHARP!
SHOW ’N SHINE & STREET DANCE

OJ’s CLASSIC CAR CRUISE
This is the last and biggest cruise that is part of the ORIGINAL JOE’S COMMUNITY CRUISE Calendar. (ADJUSTED to consider St Albert Construction as of 7.28.2024)
It all stages at the NAKI Transit Station. All registered cars are welcome to join the cruise. Staging goes throughout the day.
NEW in 2024: Food Trucks, DJ and NAPA Displays on site throughout the lunch hour. Not cruising? That’s ok, bring your ride and enjoy the lunch hour activities between 11:30am-1:30pm.

Michael Sands & Lori Scheurwater are excited to be hosting another year of Rock’n August fun at their Fountain Tire location on St Albert Trail.
This is one of the biggest nights of the week leading into RNA’s weekend schedule. Lots of cars and music are sure to keep you entertained. The 2024 Show and Shine starts at 5 pm.
New for 2024 is the Button & Punch Card Combo. Pick it up for $5 and receive a free meal at up to 5 of the events that are offering BBQ’s/Breakfasts. One button/punch card is good for all events!
Use your Punch Card to enjoy a free burger, chips and soda (Starting at 6pm until 1200 burgers and 800 hotdogs are gone). Plenty of random prizes for show and shine entries.
In addition to the classic cars and music, Fountain Tire will have free popcorn, balloons, exotic birds, and a hula hoop contest. A fantastic band - Running With Scissors - will be playing till 9 pm.
One set of Goodyear tires (up to $1,000) will be given away to a lucky owner at 8pm who has registered their classic and put their ticket into the draw at this Show & Shine Event. Must be present to claim prize or a redraw will happen..
Show and shine prestaging at the United Church Lot starting at 3pm, please enter at Sir Winston Churchill Ave and Green Grove Drive. Green Grove closes at 5pm for street parking and opens again to regular traffic by 10:00pm.
