CONTINUING IN 2026: Vehicle Registration Required + Safety Escort for Early Departures

To keep everyone safe and organized, all vehicles must now be registered to participate in Rock’n August events. In addition, if you need to leave early, a designated parking attendant — called a Marshall — must escort your vehicle out of the event area. This ensures safe movement through crowds and protects pedestrians during peak times.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Vehicle registration is mandatory. If your vehicle isn’t registered, it won’t be allowed into the event grounds.

  • Leaving early? You’ll need a Marshall escort. They wear bright safety vests clearly labeled “MARSHALL” on the back, making them easy to spot.

  • Need assistance? Head to the Info Tent or speak to the nearest Marshall to request a walk-out escort.

  • Preferred you stay. While early departures are permitted if needed, we encourage all participants to stay until the event concludes.

  • Applies to all events. This policy is in effect across all Rock’n August event days and will be enforced based on crowd size. Marshalls will determine if an escort is required at the time of your request.

These updates are designed to help everything run smoothly — thanks for your cooperation!
