Late in 2020, the classic car community lost a member and strong advocate and Rock’n August lost an ardent supporter. Maurice Ringuette had been involved for 25 years both as a classic car owner and member of St Albert Cruisers but also as a supporter of Rock’n August. It was his support through his ownership of Ashton Transport that provided Rock’n August critical pieces to the Rock’n August puzzle.

In 2021, we postumously awarded Maurice with the Blair Art Memorial Volunteer Recognition Award

In 2021, his wife and classic car enthusiast herself, Angelika Ringuette stepped up to help the organization throught the challenges of covid by becoming a Platinum Sponsor of the Event. We are proud to have her as one of our top supporters. We are better because of Maurice and Angelika Ringuette and the support of others like them over the years.
